Mungaru Male

When Skeeter from the venerable Daily Prophet deigns to tag GDPB, we have no option but to honour the call. But we do not like writing words, ergo we present some pictures from rainy days we have been duty bound to capture on cam. Here you go. But let us leave you with some rainy little titbits: a) 'Rainy Days' was an essay dictated to us by our 4th std English ma'am which we duly mugged up for the exams. b) Pakodas during rain are not really our thing. We much rather have bajjis/vadas with proper South Indian coffee. (Is this a real memory or just our imagination? Hmmn.) c) 'Rain drops keep fallin' on my head' has been our ringtone for some time and d) Fond as we are of Bangalore's monsoons, our favourite rainy place is 360 km to the west at Surathkal, where there is 'so much melancholy in the sky' and where we grew up through 4 rains in solitude. There! This picture? Wien aka Vienna. And the title? He he :).

Skeets is happy to see her first tag being executed...Thank You. Well, I did expect pictures at GDBP while tagging. Whay "duty bound" to capture? What are bajjis? I am sure they are also made of besan(chickpea flour) and are similar to pakodas...As much as Skeets loves coffee she cannot have it more than once a season. Doesn't suit her system no more. Surathkal...mmm... any pics? And the Wien pic is awesome! Too ood man! And the title is nice too...
Oh yes.. I would like to ask how can I protect my pictures from being copied?

the title is fraud da. mungaru, as far as i know, refers to monsoon, which doesn't happen in Wien!

given that this is a photo blog, the title of the post should relate to the picture. so it's totally wrong!

Skeeter: Duty-bound for the sake of GDPB only :). You are right about bajjis.. we usually dip sliced aloo, onion or raw banana in the besan b4 frying... Suratkal pics? I didn't have many and I lost them all in a couple of hard-disk crashes.. I think I have some videos though... Protection for ur pics? U cannot stop people from copying what u've posted on ur blog but u own the copyright.. let's not get into b-law but u could put a digital stamp of ur name or sthng across the pics so that othrs may not pass them off as theirs..

Wimp: I know.. mungaru is monsoon.. it's just an arbit title that felt funny at that time...
