Gandhi Bazaar

I've been working and living in GGN for about 10 months now. I feel at home pretty much everywhere I go - Mumbai, Barca, Gurgaon... but home home will always remain Bangalore. This is a picture of the market at Gandhi Bazaar, still the heart of the Bangalore that I grew up in, not the Bangalore that people know today.

Bird Brains

Well, one of the countless pigeons infesting our complex happened to fly into my flat during yesterday's rain/hail fall. After attempts to fly through glass failed, it took to hopping on the ledge for a couple of hours. Mate and friend on the other side seemed to be ask, "Whaddya doing there?"

And, apologies to the DP folks visiting - I just can't post a photo a day no longer - too busy, and I don't get around enough of GGN enough.

A House for Mr.Biswas

Gurgaon is one of India's fastest growing cities, at least going by all the construction visible from the streets. All the new residences being built are multi-storied apartment complexes but some of the older localities have beautiful standalone bungalows like this one.
